'Shona MacSween attempts to make sense of the supernatural and its ghostly beings. Wearable forms are made and trained to sit perched on the shoulder or hand to assume the role of a personal gargoyle. Their unexpected textures, weights and partially recognisable forms allow these ambiguous creatures only a tenuous link to this world.' Text by Lin Cheung, 2009.
